Estrellita
Countless generations have been inspired by the magic of stars, giving rise to poetry, stories, myths, and legends. Estrellita (Spanish: Little Star) was inspired by twinkling stars at the cusp of twilight, emitting twinkling imagery in the sky. The work was further inspired by the music my niece would listen to when she was younger, mainly consisting of piano covers of slow classical music and lullabies. There has been beauty to lullabies for hundreds of years. These soft and serene melodies have created beautiful emotions, bonds, and memories, inspiring others to be stars in someone else’s life.
